THE RANKINGS: Five Pac-12 teams grace this week’s BCS Standings with No. 4 OREGON, No. 11 OREGON STATE, No. 14 STANFORD, No. 17 USC, No. 22 ARIZONA… For the sixth time in the history of the AP poll, a record-tying six Pac-12 teams appear in the Top 25.
RECORD-SETTING DAY: NCAA, Pac-12 and school records were tied or set Saturday following some impressive performances… UTAH senior KR Reggie Dunn tied an NCAA and Pac-12 record with two kickoff returns for touchdown against California… USC sophomore WR Marqise Lee set a Pac-12 single-game receiving record with 345 reception yards in the 35-33 loss at Arizona… USC senior QB Matt Barkley bettered his school record with 493 passing yards and 497 yards in total offense at Arizona… CALIFORNIA junior WR Keenan Allen hauled in five receptions in the loss at Utah to become Cal’s career leader in receptions, passing former Golden Bear Geoff McArthur (202 receptions, 2000-04). He now has 205 career receptions… WASHINGTON STATE senior QB Jeff Tuel completed a WSU single-game record 43 passes in the 24-17 loss at Stanford… OREGON set a school record for most points in a conference game in its 70-14 win over Colorado… Not all records were posted on the offensive side of the ball as STANFORD racked up a school record 10 sacks in its win over Washington State.
WASHINGTON (4-4) at CALIFORNIA (3-6)

Cal sophomore TB Brendan Bigelow notched his third TD run of at least 50 yards this season when he went 57 yards for a score at Utah. He also had TD rushes of 81 and 59 yards at Ohio State. The last time a Cal RB had three rushes of 50 or more yards was Jahvid Best in 2009 (61, 73, 93).
With five catches at Utah, junior WR Keenan Allen now has 205 career receptions to become California’s all-time receptions leader. He passed former Golden Bear Geoff McArthur who had 202 receptions (2000-04).
Washington’s victory over No. 7 Oregon State marked the first time the Huskies had beaten a previously unbeaten team past the midway point of the season since 1982. It was the second win against a top-10 opponent this season (they beat No. 8 Stanford on Sept. 27), marking the fifth time in program history, and the first time since 2001 that a UW squad had knocked off two top-10 teams in the same season.
Washington sophomore TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins, who leads all FBS tight ends with 40 receptions (5.0 per game), needs just eight catches to tie the school single-season record by a tight end set by Jerramy Stevens in 2000. He also eclipsed the 1,000-yard barrier in career receiving yards (1,016).
STANFORD (6-2) at COLORADO (1-7)

The Cardinal defense has allowed a net of -13 yards rushing over the last two games. Stanford ranks second in the FBS, allowing just 65.4 yards rushing per game. Its 10 sacks against WSU set a school record and it now ranks third in the nation in sacks (4.0).
Stanford junior S Ed Reynolds returned his league-high-tying fourth interception of the season for a touchdown against Washington State. He has returned two interceptions for touchdowns this season to tie for second in the FBS, and his 169 interception return yards lead the nation. Reynolds’ pick six marked the fourth defensive score for the Cardinal this season.
Junior RB Stepfan Taylor needs 96 yards to reach 1,000 yards for the third season in his career. He’d join former Cardinal Darin Nelson as the only Stanford players to accomplish that feat, and 12th player to do so in Pac-12 history.
Colorado is 3-0 against Stanford at Folsom Field, with its last home meeting with the Cardinal coming in 1990, the Buffaloes’ national championship season. Offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, who was a senior running back for the Buffs at the time, scored the deciding touchdown with 12 seconds left in a 21-17 win. All three contests in Boulder have been decided by a TD or less.
Colorado DE Will Pericak has started each game of a possible 45 since arriving on campus and now owns the Colorado record for consecutive career starts. His 45 starts are two shy of the overall mark set by OL Ryan Miller (2007-11).
WASHINGTON STATE (2-6) at UTAH (3-5)

The 49 points by Utah in its win over California are the most since the Utes put up 54 in a 54-10 win at BYU last season.
Utah senior RB John White rushed for 105 yards and a pair of TDs vs. California. The Utes are 10-0 when White rushes for 100 or more yards.
In his third career start, freshman QB Travis Wilson connected on 16 of 24 pass attempts for 156 yards. He’s completed 65.3 percent of his pass attempts this season. Wilson is the third freshman quarterback to start in the Pac-12 this season, joining Oregon’s Marcus Mariota and UCLA’s Brett Hundley.
Washington State senior QB Jeff Tuel threw for a career-best 401 yards in the 24-17 loss at Stanford. He’s thrown for 300 or more yards four times during his career.
Cougar junior WR Marquess Wilson is second on the school’s career list with 184 career receptions. He needs 12 receptions to pass Michael Bumpus (195, 2004-07) to set the WSU career mark. His 3,134 career receiving yards are a Cougar all-time best, and rank 12th all-time in the Pac-12.
OREGON (8-0) at USC (6-2)

The ninth straight meeting in which both teams are ranked.
Oregon has scored 30 or more points in 21 straight games, the longest streak in the FBS. The Ducks are 39-2 when scoring 30-plus in the Chip Kelly era, which is only 48 games long. Oregon has scored 42 or more points in 11 straight games, averaging 51.8 points in that stretch.
Oregon senior PK Rob Beard has connected on 122-of-123 PATs over his career. Meanwhile, Oregon has been successful on 262-of-264 PATs over the last four years.
Sophomore De’Anthony Thomas had 176 all-purpose yards in the win over Colorado, including a 70-yard punt return for a touchdown. He averaged 22.0 yards per touch. Thomas has 1,025 all-purpose yards this season on just 100 touches (10.25 yards per touch).
At Arizona, USC sophomore WR Marqise Lee (345 yards) and junior WR Robert Woods (93 yards) set a USC record for most receiving yards in a game by 2 players (438).
With 926 career completions, USC senior QB Matt Barkley is on the verge of establishing another Pac-12 career record. With two completions he sets USC’s career record (927, Carson Palmer), five completions sets the Pac-12 career mark (930, Arizona’s Nick Foles)… In addition to his on-field prowess, Barkley is one of 15 recipients to earn a $18,000 postgraduate scholarship as part of the 54th NFF National Scholar-Athlete Class. He is now a finalist for the 2012 William V. Campbell Trophy, which recognizes an individual as the absolute best scholar-athlete in the nation.
ARIZONA (5-3) at UCLA (6-2)

Arizona has won the last five games vs. UCLA… With UCLA ranked No. 24 this week, it will be Arizona’s sixth game this season vs. a ranked foe.
After a stellar performance in the win over USC in which he threw for 369 yards and rushed for 100 yards, Arizona senior QB Matt Scott now ranks second nationally with 386.1 yards in total offense… UCLA freshman QB Brett Hundley is second in the Pac-12 and 16th nationally with 307.1 yards in total offense. Sophomore RB Ka’Deem Carey posted his sixth 100-yard rushing game of the season with 119 yards vs. USC. He needs 39 yards to reach 1,000 for the season… UCLA Senior RB Johnathan Franklin posted his 16th career 100-yard rushing game with 164 yards at ASU. He has 1,042 yards rushing this season, while his career rushing total now stands at 3,711. He needs just 20 yards to tie Gaston Green’s all-time school record of 3,731.
UCLA sophomore LB Eric Kendricks had a career-high 17 tackles at ASU, the most by a Bruin player since Reggie Carter had 20 by BYU in 2008… Kendricks leads the Pac-12 in tackles with 9.2 per game, while ARIZONA junior LB Jake Fischer is second with 9.0 per game.
ARIZONA STATE (5-3) at OREGON STATE (6-1)

Arizona State sophomore QB Taylor Kelly has completed 67.7 percent of his passes (147-of-217). The school record for pass completion percentage (over 301 attempts) is 61.8 percent.
Arizona State senior P Josh Hubner has pinned opponents inside the 20-yard line 12 times in 30 attempts. He nailed a career-best 73 yard punt against UCLA, helping him to post at 52.6 average on five punts. Hubner ranks fifth in the FBS with at 47.5 yard average.
Oregon State sophomore WR Brandin Cooks collected nine passes for 123 yards in the loss at Washington. It was his fourth 100-yard receiving game this year. He averages 112.9 yards per game and is one of three Pac-12 receivers, all sophomores, to average better than 100 yards per game.
