I can’t think of a better way to start than with this doozy from track star Lolo Jones:
whoever took my shoes after the meet, I've been using meds for fungus on my feet. Ur hand should heal in a month from picking up my shoes 😉—

Late yesterday, there was a roster cut by one of the Super Bowl teams. As you would expect, it could only be the New England Patriots. Yes, Tiquan Underwood was cut the day before the Super Bowl. Cold blooded by any standard but that is the nature of the business. It does, however, make me wonder what he did about this:

The craziest day in all of college football is finally done! National Letter of Intent Day (Signing Day) took place on February 1st. That was the first day high school recruits could sign “and fax” their letter of intent to the school of their choice. Yes, the fax machine is still in vogue…..in college sports at least.

I have no clue who's committing to #BoiseState today. But I for damn sure hope we got us a kicker.—

When I see a recruit virtually inserted into the ESPN studio, I want him to say, "Help me, Rece. You're my only hope."—

It wouldn’t be a post without at least a couple of tweets before the Big Game. These were just a few of the examples of the funny pre-game tweets this past week.
It's so nice to see so many grandpas out and about with their incredibly beautiful granddaughter$ in Indy. Oh wait... #SuperBowl—

Gotta love Super Bowl week. My hotel charging me $30 to deliver package sent to me to my room. Told me its their handling fee. What a crock—

TWEET OF THE WEEK
So many to choose from this week, I couldn’t choose just one.
I vote for leaving this Blazers team in Portland and sending 12 other guys on the road.—

Jim Harbaugh is coach of the year. The person presenting the award to him should probably be prepared for a big handshake.—

Someone did a cover of "Can't Live (If Living Is Without You)" so much worse than the original I'm embarrassed for Walgreen's for playing it—

I don't even know how to feel about a #Mariners bench that could include Carlos Guillen and Chone Figgins. It's just...sad? I don't know.—

Bonus coverage? Yes, I’m providing bonus coverage this week with an extra tweet worth checking out.
While the tweet itself isn’t the tweet of the week, the link “in the tweet” to the Storify story is worth it. 5000 people playing dodgeball!!! There is no way I could pass that up. Click the link in the tweet or find the story here.
