How I love you.

How I love you.

I love my Fridays!!

I think that’s what happens when you wake up at 4am when you had every intention of sleeping in until 7am. Old songs, and I mean OLD songs, pop into your head.

I do, however, love Fridays. It is Friday Fun Tweets time. What are Friday Fun Tweets?

Friday Fun Tweets: a collection of tweets from the sports Twitterverse; funny, crazy, wild, jaw-dropping or just plain old LOL tweets.

We begin with some humorous tweets left over from Wednesday’s blockbuster baseball free agent signing by the LA Angels. Yes, I’m talking about Albert Pujols. Not everyone was happy, of course. But others, had a far more humorous outlook on the money:

Word was tweeted yesterday that the offensive coordinator at Florida, was leaving to take the head coaching job at Kansas. Why was this news? That coordinator was none other than former Notre Dame head coach, Charlie Weis. Yahoo Sports’ Pat Forde with his take:

Urban Meyer was the coach at Florida a couple of years ago. Urban Meyer retired due to health and the ever-popular, “spend more time with my family” reasons. Urban Meyer is back coaching, as of November. Is his family okay? Here’s Mike Bianchi:

It’s Christmastime and that means Charlie Brown Christmas is on television. But this year, it almost felt like you were watching it on Twitter with folks around the country. This tweet from Jemele Hill, brings sports into the Charlie Brown viewing as only she can.

Seahawks fans would get a kick out of this one. Or, at the very least, those who know Mike Holmgren.

Earlier this week, a conference took place in New York called the IMG Intercollegiate Athletics Forum (IAF). Bringing together different voices across the college sports spectrum, it was enlightening following the topics and discussion on Twitter under the hashtag #SBJIAF (SBJ standing for Sports Business Journal and IAF is as indicated above).

One of the ‘voices’ during this week’s conference was Steve Robinson from Chick-Fil-A. Chick-Fil-A has done major advertising during college football telecasts this season. Their current advertising campaign features cows. You may have seen this commercial.

It is with that commercial in mind, that I present the quote in the tweet below as your Tweet of the Week:
