Spanning the Twitterverse to bring you the constant variety of tweets
The thrill of the retweet and the agony of the unfollow
The human drama of the twitter timeline
This is CadChica’s Wide World of Tworts
A day late and a dollar short. True, these tweets are from yesterday but the reaction to the Casey Anthony verdict in the Twitterverse took precedence over these. Not to say, though, that these aren’t worthy because they are. Thus, I post.
I simply liked this for the “spasm” reference about Twitter.
UNFOLLOW? DO NOT ANNOUNCE
I’ve talked about my distaste for announcing that you’re unfollowing someone. I continually shake my head (smh) when I see things like this. Do people really think the person you’re unfollowing cares? No. I almost feel like going all Valley Girl when I see it: “AS IF!”
YES MR DOCKETT, SIR
Remember last week when Darnell Dockett live tweeted his encounter with police? Will this help?
BLAME IT ALL ON MCCOURT
Frank McCourt, who has pretty much made the Dodgers a laughingstock, will now be blamed for everything.
NFL MEDIA WITHDRAWALS
Another definitive sign that the media is tired of this lockout:
ONLY IN BASEBALL
Never let it be said that McCain doesn’t listen to his constituents on Twitter. The campaign to get Ian Kennedy as the extra selection took on a new twist when we get this from Todd Walsh on Twitter asking for McCain’s “endorsement”: McCain Casts Vote For Kennedy.
TWEET OF THE DAY
Yesterday it was announced that St Louis Cardinals first baseman, Albert Pujols, would be available to return to the Cardinals lineup after recovering from an elbow injury. That prompted this tweet from Minnesota sportswriter, Aaron Gleeman. (You can see why it was tweet of the day right?)
