Following in the footsteps of the Seattle Sounders, the Mariners have opened a fan-favorit “The King’s Court” (in honor of “King” Felix Hernandez). You can read more about it here from the Seattle PI. But yesterday during Felix’s pitching day, the court convened again, with a Larry Bernandez sighting.

I’m always delighted when athletes reply to a fan’s tweets. Most times, they’re pretty straight-forward. Every so often, they can be rude. But then there are times where you just laugh because you can picture the athlete’s face when they tweeted it.

I enjoy barbecuing; or rather, my husband barbecuing. Now, I know life is busy for professional race-car drivers but this surprised me from Kevin Harvick.

10 + 2 = 12

We know how to add here on the West Coast. If our conference has 8 teams in it, by golly, so does our name. If it has 10 in it, we change accordingly. We add 2 more teams, I think we have enough fingers and toes to figure that 10 + 2=12. That’s right. 12 teams in our conference so we go with the flow and change the name. WE ARE THE PAC-12. I’m sure if we had added only 1, we would have become the PAC-11; nevermind history. 10 + 1 does not equal 10 (hint, hint Midwest folks). As of 12:01 EST that Pac-10 welcomed Utah and Colorado and became the Pac-12. And if East Coast folks don’t understand that, well:
